NANSHY BRUSHES | REVIEW

What makeup lover doesn't love new brushes to add to their collection? I can finally put my hands up and say I have enough makeup brushes to supply Europe, not that it's a bad thing... My makeup addiction turned into a brush addiction quite some time ago, and i'm over flowing, like literally. It's just like the excitement of buying new makeup, but for brushes, although cleaning them i'm not fond of, but who is?!

I've had my eyes on some Nanshy brushes for absolutely ages now! I saw quite some time ago, some youtubers; Maddie Bruce, Just Jodes and others using these and they looked so sleek, simple and great quality, so when I had the opportunity to collaborate with Nanshy, I was absolutely over the moon!!! They kindly sent me The Eye Brush Set (7 Makeup Brushes)* in Pearlescent White, which are seriously stunning, I was dying to use them straight away!

Nanshy have some absolute amazing quality, sleek brush sets and individuals brushes that are extremely affordable. They also have beauty sponges and accessories, like makeup bags etc and to top it off, everything is vegan and cruelty-free!!!

So lets get onto the good bits...

All of the Nanshy brushes are actually made with synthetic Taklon bristles which are EXTREMELY extremely soft. Not stiff or itchy/scratchy... yes, I have an eye brush that feels like it's scratching my eyelid every time I use it, it's horrible but it works so well so I can't give it up just yet! I've been using them for over a month now, and I feel that because they are so soft, it makes blending eyeshadow so much easier and gives that seamless blended finish. They also claim their brushes do not shed, and from what I have tested so far, especially when washing them, they haven't shed once unlike my other brushes!

These brushes are so aesthetically pleasing to me, they have 'Nanshy' engraved into the ferrule (metal part - I didn't know it was called that either until I googled it shh!) which is a nice touch. The handles are a pearlised white, with specks of tiny glitter. They just look and feel so luxurious and sleek, not too heavy but not light and cheap either!

In the Eye brush set, you get 7 brushes in the set, which is literally all you need to complete the perfect eye look! All of the brushes are so versatile and can be used for many different things! The brushes in this set include...

Tapered Crease - Is a very small, precise fluffy brush. I love using this either to smoke out the lower lash line or blend a cut crease.

Blending Eyeshadow - This is my favourite for blending in those transition and crease colours, as it's super fluffy and soft it gives that super blended look.

Large Shader - This brush is very thick and dense, so I find using it to Pack shadow on the mobile lid works really well.

Eye Crease - This is a smaller version of the 'Blending Eyeshadow' brush, it has more precision and I love using this in the crease or outer crease for darker colours.

Angled DetailerThis brush is just your standard angled brush which are great for filling in the brows, especially as it's so tiny and dense.

Flat Definer - I've never owned a brush like this, so I was really happy to try it out! I love using it for carving out my brows with concealer, but it would also be really good for tight lining/ smoking out the lower lash line.

Precise Bent Eyeliner - Again, i've never owned one of these. They're meant for eyeliner, but as I don't wear eyeliner (hooded eye probs) I love using this to imitate brow hairs to make my brows look bushier and thicker!

Overall, I don't think I could really fault these brushes in any way. They're just amazing quality for such an affordable price and work so well for blending and applying shadow etc! I've been using them for over a month now, and they have been great for creating literally any eye look!

I hope you've enjoyed reading my quick, little review of these beautiful Nanshy eye brushes and I hope i've tempted you enough to go treat yourself to some seriously good brushes! Treat yo' self. If you would like to have a look at this brush set or their other sets, individual brushes and accessories, have a peak at their website here.
